ABOUT

Professionally, I serve as the Director of Culture and Policy Innovation for a mentoring nonprofit, and I am pursuing a public policy graduate degree. When I'm not working or completing coursework, you can find me writing, running, or discussing current events with friends and family. I currently call New York City home, but I've lived in seven different states across the U.S.

I am a product of the Midwest, born and raised in Missouri. Though I've broadened my horizons, I still managed to attend college and find love there. My partner, Bartholomew, is my greatest support and best friend.

These days, I am writing most about current events, social change, race, running and movement, friendship, community, and privilege.
